Amaroks are biiig and rats sometimes make nests in their matted fur, feeding off of amarok's blood which they drink from the small bite wounds of the rats' making. It's unpleasant (especially if the matted fur is in some sensitive area q_q). Luckily a good scratch can fix the issue~

In the foreground, and low in the photo, is a field with some grazing sheep dotted about. It is dusk and large trees are silhouetted on either side against a dark blue-grey cloudless sky.
