Young bird sits on a bit of wood, a leg & a wing outstretched.

The bird sits within its pallet shelter, just... chirping constantly. Every chirp makes me wanna cry, if only because I wish to help it somehow.

A shot of the bird from above, now outside of the safety of the pallet... just for a little while.

You can see both of the young bird's legs here: one of the legs seems fine, while the other looks a bit damaged. The bird is looking back towards the safety of the pallet, about to hide out once again.

At work, I found a young bird that landed near my register.

It tried to fly away, but I think it got injured. It stayed pretty hidden, just chirping the whole time I was there... God, my heart wants to help the poor thing, but I dunno if I can even do anything. 😢

A couple of clematis flowers, both from "creeping plants" that can grow really long stems of leaves (these happen to have flowers with them). These are two different types of clematis and are different colors: the left is a solid purple flower with a yellow center while the right is light pink with a large darker pink stripe on the center of each of its petals, meeting up at a yellow center. Each still has seven petals that tend to overlap, but they look quite pretty!

A solemn display of various plants, landscaping stones, paver stones and artificial grass as a memorial for those in the US military services that gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for their country. Stones are arranged like columns on each side of a paver-designed pathway with red stones in the image of a cross. The walkway leads to a stone-walled fountain, where flags of the different branches of the USA military stand with an American flag of red, white and blue stands in front. The whole display is also located on a special parking spot just for veterans of the military - if you are military, we thank you for your time & service.
