I was reminded that today is World Knot Tying Day. Unfortunately, I was already in my office, and the only thing I found to tie a knot with was an old CAT5e cable, so that's what I used to tie this Ocean Plait Mat. #worldknottyingday

This one is my stab at Mikko Snellman's one-piece bellrope, tied in 8mm hemp. Still needs to have the strays burned off and to be shellacked.
