The mid-palate finesse is admirable. This silky red just dances across the palate, leaving an impression! It's old-school Xinomavro in the best sense, needing air and food. This is increasingly impressive as it sits.

2/2 Drink it now if you want...but another few years wouldn't hurt. When I saw it close to release, I thought it was great, but it was certainly unevolved. It is closer to stunning now, but it still can improve.

Best of all, this has always been a fine bargain from big Boutari in Greece--around $30 in new vintages. This silky red looks like it will continue aging gracefully for another 10+ years. The grape ages well. 13% alc.
