Just finished #YoungSherlockHolmes which was excellent. Great Guy Ritchie work, and an excellent soundtrack as ever. Also, plenty of nods to the Holmes stories. Two thumbs up.

🔍 But #YoungSherlockHolmes just isn't clever enough for a Sherlock Holmes story and all the in-jokes to the hallmarks of adult Holmes feel a bit too on the nose. And Sherlock Holmes purists certainly don't care for the break in canon where Holmes and Watson meet already as teens. 📽️🎞️
