Ice encases a spray of mountain laurel in this post-winter storm photo. The broadly oval, smooth, green mountain laurel leaves radiate from central stems, each set resembling an open flower. There were Evil Speeches of Evil, declarations of love, and proclamations of vengeance. Well-used verbs include conniving, plotting, supporting, sneaking, ransacking, burning, stealing, and running. And everyone had a great time exploring the many floors of the 3D printed castle. Fantastic.

I can’t say enough good things about my players. Dinner with Strahd last week was outstanding. I brought sparkly drinks and snacks. Everyone was in costume and brought their A game. It was intense, memorable, emotional, and no one touched a die all night.
