Very proud of our patient-public involvement group in Glasgow, Edinburgh and England. Thanks to all our patients who have contributed and Crohn's Colitis UK.
Our PPI IBD patients Molly and Tricia came out with the 'Patient-led' effort.
We handed over the reins 100%.
Our patient group met, discussed and wrote up this paper over 6 months.
In 2023, 1315 IBD patients from UK & globally took part in our work and left 415 specific comments about IBD and their lives.
Precious data.
But how to capture, analyse and present this? We asked our patients.
What happens if we let our patients take the lead in an IBD project?
Result: A 100% patient-led paper on, 'What it means to live with IBD'
Produced 100% by patients.
With no input from analytical tools, clinicians, KOLs and pharma input.
