a historic adobe building, identified as the De Vargas Street House or the "Oldest House" in Santa Fe, New Mexico. the structure showcases traditional Pueblo-style architecture, characterized by its thick, textured, earth-toned mud walls made from sun-dried clay bricks mixed with straw and include la exposed wooden beams (vigas) extending from the roofline, small, irregularly shaped windows with iron grilles, and a few small doors at ground level. the bright sunlight creates strong, defined shadows across the building's facade and the ground, highlighting the rustic texture of the adobe.
The De Vargas Street House in Santa Fe, New Mexico is known as the Oldest House in the United States. The building is constructed of adobe bricks on top of foundations dating back to approximately 1200 CE.
