The jokulsarlon glacial lagoon has been created as the Breidamerkurjokull glacier retreats. The lagoon is filled with icebergs that have broken off the glacier. This image was made after sunset in early March which created a blue glow.

Fellfjara is a stunning black sand beach where icebergs from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon wash ashore, sparkling like diamonds. The sea swirls around an ice “diamond” that glows a light blue.

Glacial melt water, with a distinctive blue colour, descends the Bruarfoss waterfall. It is a recent addition to the “golden circle “ of tourist sights in southern Iceland. It requires a hike from the car park.

Four images of hellebores that are now flowering in our garden. They are all different varieties - three are shades of red & pink. The fourth is pale yellow.
Spring is beginning in England. Our hellebores are flowering in the garden. We are very relieved as they suffered badly in last summer’s drought. #photography #spring #hellibores
It’s behind a paywall so I can’t read it. Somewhat blunts your message. 🤔
I gave up listening to Today during the Brexit referendum too. It’s now Radio 3 in the morning. No more shouting at the radio.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

For what it’s worth I prefer the greens and browns of the colour version. The fog gives it atmosphere.

Late afternoon at Loughrigg Tarn in the English Lake District. Sun light catches the side of the Langdale Pikes and the trees surrounding the Tarn. A chill wind disturbs the water on the Tarn.

Kelly Hall tarn is a small lake in the Torver Common near Coniston. The tarn is frozen giving reflections of a pine tree on the left hand side, birch trees in the middle and the Old Man of Coniston mountain on the right hand side. Late afternoon sun catch’s the side of the trees and the mountains in the background.
