Good morning. It was gorgeous on the trail...53F, sunny. The redwings & bunnies were out. Check out the beautiful cardinal I saw yesterday at my pet sit. Run included short speed: 8 x 1 min on/1 min off at 5k or under. Felt great. Happy Pink Wednesday. Enjoy your movement. 🏃♀️🌸 #runningpunks
Day 365+112 - Sunny, breeze, mild, wet.
Imagined a cozy dog trot along low tide in the breeze. Realised an unexpected trail slog akin to the end of a marathon. Didn't expect that battle at all, even with photo stops. Don't know why it happened; glad it's over.

Greenwich Park from the Observatory, the Queens House in the middle distance with the towers of Canary Wharf in the rear.
Circular flower bed with predominantly white pink and blue flowers.
The Greenwich Observatory- a red brick building with white detail and a red ball on its roof; blue sky above.
Ageing white, male runner in a pink, orange and purple top that looks like 1970s wallpaper. Parkland behind.
This week’s long run (12.5k) was a bit shorter than last week’s as I didn’t want my legs to feel quite as tired. It was a pleasant run in the sun in and around Greenwich Park #GreenRunners #JogDivision
I love running. #runningpunks
Popped out for a 5k before work. That was hard work #runningpunks but finished strongly up the hill.
Some swearing punk music from Ray Hawthorne to help me along!
#Runningpunks recovery run innit.

Early morning #RunningPunks outing at sunrise to celebrate a friend’s happy birthday and see if we could spot any deer around the lagoon. Final tally was five miles and 15 deer.
(The Skokie Lagoons were the biggest project under FDR’s New Deal developed from 1933-40 by the CCC.)
Day 365+111 - Cloudy, breeze, cool, damp.
A Wilbur dog #run after being messed around by the garage in Aberdeen over 2 days. Much easier getting it out the way earlier than later. Nesting time for the swans.

Kandel, Tempo
Had a tempo run for today on my schedule. Last hard session before a 10k race on Sunday.
But I didn’t felt well and I decided to cancel the training after the second of planned 4 intervals.
Watch sayed I am at peak performance.

A forested hillside with water flowing down it. There are some snow patches higher up the hill
Our snow is melting off and it will soon be trail season in the UP!
Saw these river rapid in a part of the run that is usually dry, but flooded in the thaw.
17 km run today searching for dry trails.

Surprised to snag 29:57 5k on the bad route with red traffic lights and more dangerous intersections. 39.3 V02Max, red zone running, sore from muscle wrk after #Runchat #Runsky #Runningpunks
Good morning. Another gorgeous trail run except I dropped my glasses and had to backtrack to find them. Saw the love ducks🦆 and cutie😺 V. Run was recovery. Just took it easy. Happy Taco Tuesday. #runningpunks
The deeply ingrained instinct of the common shopping trolley is to find the nearest body of water. 17km evening run #RunningPunks
Poor gramps. Just trying my best 😂
Honestly thought the comment was hilarious and we probably do need to scrub up better but couldn’t resist making it into a reel!

They lasted longer than I thought they would 👍

#5KADay 650+ #running Sunday morning 5.22 kms to meet hubby at a regional coffee roaster. Hubby was disappointed in their cafe setting, but it’s great coffee. Richmond is definitely humble area. The last km where the greenway ends is most challenging #runchat #runsky #runningpunks
Shadows from oak tree and photographer in early sun
Dandelion seed head eclipsing the sun
Grinning white, ageing man who is half smiling into the camera, oak tree next to him. For once his hair isn’t a complete state. He is wearing a light blue t shirt with pink letters with North Downs Run visible
Bright orange flower, probably Geum, but I could be wrong
The first time I’d done hill reps for ages - there were only half a dozen up the hill from Charles’ Corner in Mountsfield Park, but it felt like progress (even though Garmin was unimpressed). The park and ‘tree’ looking stunning in the early sun. #JogDivision #GreenRunners
Hilly one today #runningpunks #blueskyrunners in Gloucestershire. Plus..BEST flag i've seen for a long time when out running 🤣🏃🏻🏃🏻
