One of the highlights from a trip to west Norfolk was this flock of Crossbills at Dersingham Bog- at least 9 birds including three males #norfolkbirds #norfolkbirding

Delighted to find this drake Smew near Brigg this morning. Initially on a break between jobs and without optics, distant and flushed along with 11 Goosander by a small boat they flew towards Cadney Reservoir.

Stonechats and Sanderlings were regular fixtures of the beaches and dunes around Druridge Bay, with the former probably the most numerous bird in the dunes around Hauxley #NEbirding #UKbirding
A brief vismig session at East Chevington was productive this morning, with highlights including Merlin, Mistle Thrush, GS Woodpecker, 39 Mipit, 12 Redpoll, 1 Siskin and 10 Chaffinch south. #NEbirding #vismig #UKbirding
