No trap last night in Hunstanton, but on our Spindle this morning, seen from kitchen window, we've had a pr of Chiffchafff, and a singing Willow Warbler. We had 3 Blackcaps on it the other day, a very good bush, if you don't mind the Ermine cats. webs later!!!!! #norfolkbirding #norfolkmoths
Good morning at Titchwell, no sign of Pied Fly but nfy were 2 Yellow wagtails, (in horse paddock), Sedge and Reed warblers. Very noisy gulls! LRP x 4 on Freshmarsh, 2 near to path, good nos of sandwich terns on FM. Bearded tit, male, showing well in reedbed.

Any other patchers noticing a decrease in Pied Wagtails?
Seems to have been a clear slump in numbers out here, also mirrored in BBS data (among many other species).
Stock Doves seem to be doing well though.
I absolutely love the return of summer migrants and, while I celebrate every one with huge enthusiasm, some feel extra special. I’m sure we all have our favourites. For me catching the first distant snatch of a Grasshopper Warbler reeling is hard to beat. #NorfolkBirding

Ring Ouzels were a highlight today ~ four seen this afternoon: one near Salthouse & three west of Blakeney this evening (& ♂️ Common Redstart too). Add in a pair of Garganey, 2 Spotted Redshanks + Chiffs & Blackcaps galore on a grand TG04 day.

Nut-tree Tussock, found on wall by trap last night at 8.50, still there this morning.
