Very pleased to have spotted this hungry Narrow-bordered Bee Hawkmoth today at Cotswold Water Park.
Didn't realise how scarce it is at the time! But was certain I'd never seen one before, so got photos to help identify it.

Spider black on top with clear white line around its whole body, and pale brown legs with black spiky hairs on.

Reckon the might be a male Philodromus dispar, on my kitchen floor today, then let him loose in the garden. Beautiful 😍

Fluffy Dandeloin head in seed, which, when blown, is, by legend, supposed to tell the time - however many times you have to blow to remove all the seeds, that is the hour of the day.

Thanks to Kevin McGee for sharing his find with me: - extremely rare in the Midlands, only one previous record. At least three Steatoda albomaculata, white-spotted False Widow, today at Hartlebury Common 😍😍 this one making short work of a Mootled Grasshopper nymph.
