A mid-snack temporary cold-induced stupor allowed me time to capture these water droplets resting on the springtails hydrophobic (water proof) skin.

Mycena tenerrima- frosty bonnet. A focus bracketed imaged composed of 80 plus frames pieced together in helicon focus to achieve clarity. The mushroom its self is only 1mm tall. I used an OM1 camera / OM 90mm macro lens and a x2 teleconverter to capture this image.
