Those pictures always have this gray-brown undertone, but with some pastel colors added. I didn't want a simple sepia tone, so it became a bit more complicated. My steps were roughly as follows: -Global desaturation of the colors and chrominance, then some saturation added back to the highlights -after that a I did a split toning to achieve the desired gray-brown tone while retaining some pastel colors -add some amount of grain and a vignetting to make it look older -blurred it a little -Retouching the traffic light at the top and cropping it slightly to get rid of the one on the right -a simple, brownish frame around it That's it! The clothing isn't of course period-appropriate, but overall I like the outcome. And it reminds me why I'm not much of a post-processing guy!!
