Though 25 of the total were Tawny Shears, the only New for Year was this Brimstone Moth.

Dungeness this morning, after a disturbingly poor Seawatch this morning, news of a Pied Flycatcher and Redstart came through, followed by news of a Wood Warbler, only managed a pic of the flycatcher.

Was pleased to find the first Swallow Prominent of the year on the wall by the trap , plus the first Dark Sword-grass of the year in the trap, and the first Xylostella in the trap as well

The main focus was Large Tortoiseshell, of which at least two were seen.
