Barnacle Geese, Westray, Orkney Isles, 13 April 2026

Barnacle Geese, Westray, Orkney Isles, 13 April 2026

A fine day, blue skies and southerly wind. My usual view of a Hawfinch I put up from a garden and it upped and offed 🤷🏻‍♂️ leaving behind several newly arrived Chiffs and a Willow Warbler. Arctic Tern was also new for year, as was Carrion Crow but that don’t count no more for #PWC2026 🙄 #WestrayBirding
