It really was, as I really believe after blocking the thread would snap and I would be trying to repair a hole instead.

It really was. Wish I’d caught it sooner. But better late than never, as I genuinely think the small amount of yarn would have snapped during blocking then I’d be trying to mend a hole instead.

Yesterday I dropped down a bunch of stitches and corrected a split stitch. This stitch was hanging on by the smallest amount of yarn and would probably break at some point. So I dropped down and secured the full strand of yarn and worked back up.
