Record heat in AUSTRALIA
The Mount Baw Baw in Victoria had its warmest April day in history with a max of 21.4C.
Nearly 100% of Southern Hemisphere countries are or will break heat records, besides dozens in the Northern Hemisphere.
Top view of a large moth whose wings are a bright lemon yellow with a variable black serrated line near the bottom and with each forewing having two black spots.
Anthela inornata
We are seeing quite a few of these lovely moths at the minute.
They are quite large, with a wingspan of 6-7cm, and can be seen in early autumn in Western Australia and South Australia

EXCEPTIONAL WARMTH ALLOVER ASIA
New month: New heat wave with hundreds of records smashed allover Asia.
An exceptional warmth with temperatures typical of early summer will sweept huge swathes of Asia.
Expect up to 35C in Central Asia.
I think it's because the models mostly suggested that Australian and developing regions would bare the brunt of climate change. While north America would not until the rest of the world suffered.
But fact check me on ths,
Saw my first Chequered Swallowtail (Papilio demoleus) in Katherine this week.
This widespread tailless swallowtail occurs across Asia and Australia and its caterpillars feed on citrus plants.
