Coming up this weekend! It’s the City Nature Challenge 2026! A global wide event that Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull is joining as part of a global citizen science event to document local biodiversity using inaturalist.

Did you know that a male Emperor Moth (Saturnia pavonia) can smell a female more than 7 miles away? 👃
These winged wonders can be seen across the UK in open countryside such as heathland and moorland between April and May.

Look out for the spectacular Ruby Tiger (Phragmatobia fuliginosa) this month 🐯
This small, chunky tiger moth regularly appears in garden moth traps and can be seen during the day as well as at night.
