Too fast for me though, it'd buggered off into some brush by the time I swung my camera up.

A couple of hours at #RSPBMiddletonLakes yesterday in the hope of adding a couple more species to my year list. Managed Pochard but failed with Goldeneye (as I did earlier this year). Other highlights GWE, Egyptian Goose, Water Rail. Thrushes and finches conspicuous by their absence…🪶
