Das Foto in schwarzweiß zeigt den Rand eines Bahnsteigs. Die Kante ist weiß abgesetzt. Daneben ein weißer, geribbelter Streifen, der für Blinde eine Markierung bietet um den Sicherheitsabstand zum Gleis zu erkennen. Der Bahnsteig ist nach links gekrümmt, ebenso das Gleis. Wow, wat een geweldige foto 😍

This photo marked the first time I seriously edited an image in ACDSee Ultimate 2025. It was a challenge, as I come from a school of thought where a photo should, in principle, be perfect in one go – apart from cropping and brightening, that is. I boosted the saturation slightly, shifted the colour tone towards yellow, and adjusted the calibration and partial tone slightly. Finally, I applied vignetting to create a softer transition towards the edges.

My aim in editing this photo was to evoke the atmosphere of a balmy summer evening in the 1960s or 1970s. I softened the harshness of the neon lighting and slightly enhanced other light sources.

On that pavement, one can see – faintly – grooved tiles designed for people with visual impairments. On the asphalt of the road surface next to it, road markings have been applied for the cycle path. Das Denkmal „Schuhe am Donauufer“ in Budapest steht auf der „Pester“ Seite unweit des Parlament und erinnert an die während des 2. Weltkrieg ermordeten Jüdischen Bewohner:innen. Am Ufer stehen viele einzelne Schuhe aus dunklem Material in einer Reihe entlang der Kante. Die Schuhe sind unterschiedlich geformt und teilweise abgenutzt oder beschädigt. Zwischen den Schuhen liegen kleine Gegenstände wie Kerzen und Dosen. Im Hintergrund sind zwei Personen zu sehen, die sich in der Nähe der Schuhe aufhalten. Dahinter verläuft eine Brücke über den Fluss, und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite stehen mehrere Gebäude. Der Himmel ist bewölkt.

Danke für die Abwechslung. Vor lauter auf den Boden starren war mein Nacken schon fast steif geworden. Das hat Abhilfe geschaffen 😊

Das Foto zeigt eine gerade, asphaltierte Straße mit roten Radwegen auf beiden Seiten, die zusätzlich durch gestrichelte weiße Linien markiert sind. Beide Seiten der Straße sind von einer langen Allee aus hochgewachsenen, schlanken Bäumen gesäumt, deren Kronen sich oben fast berühren und ein dichtes, grünes Blätterdach bilden. Die Baumstämme sind hell und schlank, und die Straße verläuft zwischen den Bäumen hindurch. Im Hintergrund ist das Grün der Bäume und Büsche zu sehen, die die Landschaft ausfüllen.

In der Nähe von Bronkhorst, der kleinsten niederländischen Stadt.

Meine Großeltern waren auch noch Bauern. Und ich kann mich noch gut erinnern als Kind wie im Keller bei denen im Haus wirklich sehr viel selbst eingemachtes ordentlich sortiert stand. Und es wurde auch regelmäßig benutzt.

Dankeschön. Bei der Bearbeitung hab ich dann auch noch was gebraucht um zu erkennen, dass die Linien eigentlich nur in S/W wirklich gut wirken.

Ein moderner Gebäudeeingang mit großer Glasfront. Der Boden ist glatt und stark reflektierend, mit hellen Linienmustern. Links steht ein dunkelgrünes Samtsofa. Durch die hohen Glasfenster sind draußen beleuchtete Stadtgebäude im Abendlicht zu sehen. Innen sorgen warme Decken- und Bodenlichter für eine ruhige, elegante Atmosphäre.

Als wir mal um die 37°C hatten, da war es in Aachen in der Stadt über 40°C. Da fand ich es auf dem Rad noch gerade so auszuhalten. Wobei zum Feierabend die Sonne natürlich nicht mehr ganz so hoch stad.
