A beautiful little Anna's hummingbird in her tiny, perfect nest on top of a round piece of wood at the top of an old wind chime hanging by dirty string from a white porch overhang. Her feathers are in lovely shades of pale mauve and seafoam green. The nest looks almost perfectly round and is decorated with lichen that match her feathers, moss, and maybe white dog hair.

This tiny beauty made her perfect little nest on my neighbor's wind chimes. When she showed it to me, I thought the bird and nest were a decoration, but they're real. 🥺
