Kijk nou hoe gaaf! Vrouwtjes wolbij verzamelen ‘wol’ voor hun nest van planten, zoals van de ezelsoor. @sdhope.bsky.social legde dat prachtig vast op onderstaande video 🐝

Confusion! These were on the east 'railway end' of Newmarket Ditch/Dyke in Watsonian VC29 & Cambridgeshire. Section further west by race course marks Cambs ║ #Suffolk admin boundary so plants on the N side are in Suffolk but still in VC29. If you hear a Curlew likely it's in VC26 West Suffolk. 🤯

Aa group of purple Pasque Flowers pointing to the left. A solitary flower, lower right, points at the camera revealing the many yellow stamens at its centre.

Several groups of purple Pasque Flowers growing on the side of one of the 'hills' looking down into a 'hole'. Barnack is a medieval stone quarry, the 'hills' are really grassed over mounds of quarry spoil.

At Barnack we went to see the Pasque Flowers.

Yes! Brookside, Church Road and the churchyard. All with their populations of Goldilocks. Toft Goldilocks was originally reported from the main road by the bridge over Bourn Brook but no sign of it now.

Green Lane in Toft near #Cambridge is… a green lane 🙄.
It has patches of Goldilocks Buttercup, #Ranunculus auricomus, 🤗 but is it Toft Goldilocks Buttercup, Ranunculus toftensis? 🤔 Not were first described & Toft Goldilocks is found in lots of other places far from Toft. 🤯
