This is what corruption looks like.
🧵 Brighter evenings are ahead of us & warm winds will encourage the plants. This magnificent Magnolia is a harbinger of things to come! The constellations of blossoms & sparkling light are incredibly inspiring as you can see in my ink drawings in this thread [1]
Ambridge Socialist Update. Clarrie & Susan interviewing for their own jobs at the Dairy. No Union Rep, & given Helen & Pat have skills criteria, why the need for an interview? A 'desk based' assessment should have been done instead

We went to see the #woodanemone bright white stars clustered by mossy tree trunks. #wildflowerhour @wildflowerhour
Every American has the right to know what DOGE is doing with their personal information. I submitted a Privacy Act request to DOGE, demanding they tell me why they have my Social Security number and direct deposit information.
Hi @gabyhinsliff.bsky.social what part of the carefully-crafted proposals for a 2% wealth tax by @gabrielzucman.bsky.social, @patrioticmillionaires.org & @taxjusticeuk.bsky.social do you consider to be “magical unicorn”? www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Kenny's has been my go-to for online book shopping for years. An independent, family owned bookshop, on the go for over 80 years.
Great supporters of new writers. When Leonard and Hungry Paul came out I visited and thanked them for stocking it.
"We're not stocking it, we're selling it," said Tomás
Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed: And on the pedestal these words appear: ‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!’ Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

Yeah, I wrote a book about it so I'm slightly biased, but the Coudenberg Palace in Brussels truly was one of the grandest palaces in Europe.
The meme by amii.illustrates where, in the first panel, a cartoon man says “stop immigration so we can take care of our own”, and in the second panel a child says “I’m starving” and the man replies “fuck off”, except I’ve changed “immigration” to “gender affirming care”, “our own” to “neurodivergents”, and “I’m starving” to “I’m neurodivergent”.
i see wes streeting has reached Phase Two.
Get rid of this ridiculous “boys club” called DOGE. Stealing from the poor and vets is unconscionable. 😡
Politics can be such a costly hobby for people with a screw loose.
One of the nicest harbingers of Spring is the blossoming of magnolia in Dublin gardens.
Their vibrant growth & blasts of colour are part of the wonder of nature that I love, as you can see in my art in this thread!
TODAY ✊️ 🇵🇸
Huge win! Government announces plans to open up the Land Registry.
If delivered, will finally reveal more about who owns land in England and Wales.
Read my blog post for more details & how you can write to the Minister to make sure this now happens:

Water Rail at Forest Farm Nature Reserve, Cardiff. I'm always surprised at how small Water Rails are, not much bigger than a Blackbird on stilts #birdsSeenIn2025 #birds #birdingwales #ukbirding
Thread: Dublin has amazing sunsets. The air is also much more humid than most cities & full of water, reflecting & refracting colour. That colour inspires me, as you can see in my pen & ink on paper drawings, as well as the love of pattern in ancient Irish art.

Magnificent oak tree that grows at the southern most part of the Lake District National Park
Druid Tree Lore
19. Oak : of all trees, the oak is King. It's name, from Anglo-Saxon ‘ac’, Irish ‘daur’, Welsh ‘derw’, perhaps the origin of the term ‘Druid’, given our association with sacred groves of oak trees
