Against all odds I have a draft for the #2daypoemcontest. Time to walk the dogs, get changed, get my horn and music and head to my concert. At least I'll have a couple hours tonight before I have to send it.

I planned to get up early. My older dog beat the alarm by 15 minutes. Laundry, dishes, coffee, and now settling in to the @cv2magazine.bsky.social #2daypoemcontest. I had a few ideas over the week, I think one of them'll work with the words.

Seven hours to go. I came up with three ideas and thought, "Hey, I'll just write them all and decide which one is best."
