#43daysofwritinginsanity is coming to a close. In the midst of the #twistedtournament. Completed my 500 & 250 word stories. And have a good jump start on my 100.
No #500WordChallenge2025 Finals for me this time around, but I did earn an HM.
I'll take it. Competition is fierce.

Submitted to #FuriousFiction and #RhymingStoryChallenge today. The Rhyming was particularly challenging for me and I was waaaaay out of my comfort zone. Happy to get something in though. On to #twistedtournament

Tomorrow marks the start of the second 3-day break before #FuriousFiction & hopefully #RhymingStoryChallenge next weekend.

I'm a little behind on my posting.
This weekend was filled with #Foofaraw and boobies. #theboobyprize.
Even manged to squeeze in a blue-footed booby into my story.
The next three days will be quiet. No contests until #notquitewrite.

Work on an unrelated story for an Anthology call due tomorrow.
And celebrate my 58th trip around the big gas ball.

Usually I stress out trying to submit something last minute. For #WBFear, I wrote and edited 3 stories and the stress was "Did I submit the right one?"
Nice problem to have.
Anyway #43daysofwritinginsanity continues with #Foofaraw.
I signed up for three stories. 1.5-3k. I have 7 days. No problem. 🙄

Sick with fluish symptoms. No writing.

This was just a day of regulatmr insanity. Doggo woke me up early. ☹️ Got to work ar 7. Forgot my laptop. 😠
Went to my car to go home and battery died. 😡
Realized didn't have my phone. 🤬
It did get better from there.
On the writing front. Stared at a blank screen.

A day of calm. No writing, no research. Have an idea for #WBFear, but it hasn't quite grabbed me yet.

Good news is that I absolutely love the story and can let it breathe. Looking at about 1,000 words but could grow to 2k or so. It will find a home.
My #jerboalit and #NYCM500 stories are done so I can rest.
Not so fast. #WBFear prompts just dropped. 🤦♂️

Woke up very early this morning to finish my #furiousfiction and struggled with my wordcount. My story refused to drop below 650. With 19 minutes to spare, I did a hack job and went to submit. And...
Time change in Australia. Missed the deadline.

Ended up with a massive headache. Not very conducive to getting any writing done.😟 However, jotted down some ideas for all three contests. And got a good start on the one for #furiousfiction. It's a bit long at 800 words and may be tough to cut down.

So, tomorrow begins my #43daysofwritinginsanity. From now 'til Nov 15, I have at least one active prompt-based writing contest every day, but six. What the hell was I thinking! 🧠
