He could. And he didn't. Which, in his case at least, means now is when he wants to know. It's fine. I'm fine. We're fine. "Let's go." I force a smile and jerk myself back from the brink of safety

She's been doing it for all of her life already, didn't she? Of course that was the crux. And it took me several long years to break out of the formerly protective shell that imprisoned me. Sometimes I still feel the iron bands circling my chest, cutting into flesh as if the binders were hemmed with razor blades. I didn't want breasts. When they grew on me anyway, I let society tell me what to do with them. Until Leslie Feinberg made me realise I could just get rid of the unwanted ballast. It certainly eliminated the horrible double-bind between presenting appealingly for possible partners and hating each and every glance.

Well, in #50going15 Claude is named Claude because he is based on a Raoul, but I gave that name to the last romance's LI (Who just needed a nice name starting with R to tie back to his inspo character).
In my head Claude and Raoul are very similar names. ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ

I set #50going15 in Bielefeld and I am always very proud of myself when I fuck up the city because it doesn't do what the story needs. Already moved the location of a dance studio and put Leineweber markt to a much later date.

Back in teenage days, Little Roo needed a Celebrity Crush and after research & deliberaton landed on Claude as most sensible option. She curated and tended it lovingly for years and that version of Romee now haunts their every interaction. LOUDLY.๐ญ
