Mosaic AE Aurigae & NGC 1893 - telescope processed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter; edited in Affinity Photo 2. The stars AE Aurigae and the open cluster NGC 1893 are both located in the northern constellation Auriga (The Charioteer). AE Aurigae illuminates the spectacular Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405), while NGC 1893 is embedded in the nearby Tadpole Nebula (IC 410).

AE Aurigae & NGC 1893 - telescope processed images. AE Aurigae is a runaway O-type star that illuminates the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405) as it speeds through space. NGC 1893 is a young open cluster embedded in the nearby Tadpole Nebula (IC 410).

Stunning image of the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405), a vibrant emission nebula illuminated by the hot blue star AE Aurigae. The nebula's fiery appearance is due to energized hydrogen gas and carbon dust. Located approximately 1500 light-years away in the constellation Auriga, this celestial wonder spans 5 light-years.
