For #alaac24 we made sure to stop by the San Diego Central Library. The space was massive! There were 9 stories to explore. Not only does this library offer the typical library fare, but there were medical equipment, pay phones, & an art gallery. Lastly, the tour in special collections was amazing!

From Sondra’s blog post: room and tell asleep - but woke up in time to walk 2 miles along the bay to go to a Macmillan Happy Hour on a boat that's part of the San Diego Maritime Museum. There were lots of authors there, and it was an opportunity to talk with some, but I was feeling self-conscious about being Covid positive, so I hung out on the deck, where it was breezy, and talked with my fellow Morris committee members who were there, finally meeting them in person after all our Zoom meetings.
