A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of love knots along the left side and top of a hand written poem. The knots are made of yellow or green alternating Celtic style triangles and a red heart entwined, with a green vine growing through them, holding them together. The triangles are outlined with gold. Upper left is a heart without the triangle. The poem is titled “A Silly Valentine Poem”. “Moments twined for 30 years, You made me laugh and dried my tears Deeply loved in every way Every hour, every day. All I am, I gave to you, as I Replied ‘I do’. Every challenge I accepted Sure I’d never be rejected. Truest love, only and always, Let me brighten all your days. Only, darling, promise me, Vexing though my habit be, Each ‘sorry’, please - excuse me.” “With all my love (and apologies), LM 2026.” The poem is an acrostic, with the first letter of each line highlighted in red paint, to spell “MY DEAREST LOVE”. I write my husband a poem for special anniversaries. (This year’s is quite bad, but I ran out of time.)
