An American bald eagle is sitting on a piece of driftwood that is jutting up from the dunes, which look like light green hills due to the beach grass. The eagle is looking directly at the camera. There is a feather jutting up from it's back and it looks as if it might be hurt in some way. However the photographer did see it fly from one perch to another, so it's not terribly hurt. Still, it is in disarray. Which is also a metaphor because 2025.
