My first digital camera waaay back in the day (1996? 97?) - Kodak DC-50. Still works. Still takes awful pics.

It was exciting at the time, and the price was outrageous. But it was *digital* and now I was cool!

A large brass barrel lens mounts to the front of a studio monorail camera.

Just need to do some screen recording for B-roll, and grab a few more stills, and I'll be ready to publish a video on how I got this 175-year-old lens back to work as a portrait lens.

A Leica IIIb with Summar 50mm f2 lens with shiny chrome parts and cracked and peeling vulkanite grips.

Just finished cleaning up this pre-war beauty. I need to develop the test roll before i try to find it a new home, but I finally see why folks love Leica!

This IIIb is from 1938/39, and still fires nicely.

I enjoy repairing and using antique cameras. This week I built a film holder to use in what I initially thought was a non-functioning toy, but is actually a fully usable ‘Yen Camera’! (35mm for scale)
It uses ~25mm x 50mm glass plates.
