The photo depicts the building commission and the head librarian, A. Rehbuhn, (centre left) examining the plans for the Berlin Teachers' Association building on Alexanderplatz, which included rooms designated for the library & archive. The building was inaugurated in 1908.

This wonderful plan of Trinity Training College, Carmarthen dates from October 1898. It includes rooms in which the college servants would have lived and worked in; the ironing room, boot room, buttery and sewing room.

Today's #archive30 is an #ArchivePlan, so we "planned" on opening up a random draw to see what we found. Revealing the Proposed layout of the grounds of Berea College.

Floor plans of the basement and ground floor of Hampstead Station and Petty Sessional Court at the junction of Rosslyn Hill and Downshire Hill. The main station frontage has two wings stretching behind it at either end, with a yard between.
On this #ArchivePlan of Hampstead's 1913 redbrick police station look out for the hand ambulance room, the coal store for the unmarried officers' accommodation, the police matron's room, the bay-windowed Inspector's office, and the steps straight from the cells up into court. #Archive30

The University's predecessor was based in the town centre but moved to the Highfield site around WW1.

🌸 Spring has sprung at Churchill College!
🌹 Planting maps in the College Archive show the architects' plans for trees, flowers and shrubbery across the site, back in 1959-1960.
🌳 Today, the college has almost 1000 trees!

Original architect plans of The Miller building which replaced the Adam building. Completed in 1915, it was officially opened in July 1914 by Queen Mary and King George. They opened Yorkhill, the former Glasgow Children's hospital during the same visit.
