The Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima, Japan was nearly directly under the atomic bomb that exploded at 8:15 am, August 6, 1945. The remains of the building are still standing in the city center next to the Peace Memorial Park & Museum.

Eversince I visited the Peacepark & #AtomicBomb Dome in #Hiroshima, I have images on my mind of what happened after the explosion. Melted fingernails and human beings of which only a burned shadow remain. Will we ever accomplish humanity and live in peace or is that just a contradiction?
