#BBCCountryFile Loch is pronounced Lo - chh, not 'lock' .
A lock is one of two things but is not a wide expanse of water. Your Anglo-centric pronunciation does not aid your communication.

In case you’re after some reading, #GhostsoftheFarm (here in #BBCCountryfile) is a book that revealed itself in filmic, elegiac, dusty light, & haunted me. God I'd love to see this as a film. I can see my forgotten women, zipping each other into dresses, forsaking breeches, to gales of laughter.

“Children young as 11 were advised to walk miles along unlit, dangerous roads.” Public transport is failing rural youth – here’s why a shake-up is long overdue | Countryfile.com Limited public transport disadvantages rural teenagers academically and socially, says author Nicola Chester

Wrote this for #BBCCountryfile Mag. Rural home-to-school transport (& public transport generally) massively disadvantages & isolates our rural youth. Higher education often not possible & buses to work/ volunteering/ events reg cancelled (35 x in under 24 months) www.countryfile.com/people/opini...

Dear Atlantic Salmon considering a return to the River Usk after being featured on #BBCCountryFile, please note that the only reason the humans want you back is so that they can eat you.
You may be better off finding somewhere that the humans haven’t colonised. This may involve leaving the planet.

Delighted to have a feature on #GhostsoftheFarm in #BBCCountryfile A story that revealed itself in a filmic, elegiac, dusty light, & truly haunted me. God I'd love to see this as a film. I can picture my forgotten women, zipping each other into dresses, forsaking breeches, to gales of laughter.

She'll love #bbccountryfile tonight.

It had a very anti Labour report on IHT and farmers. Tories and Reform will love it.

BBC bias in plain sight.

2 0 1 0

Why has BBC countryfile just done a completely biased report on IHT for farmers? Completely one-sided anti Labour report.

#bbccountryfile seem to be doing Reform's and the Tory's work for them.

#BBCcountryfile exposing how many farming families will suffer with the government changes in UK.
Farmers taking their lives ! Just awful.

A very poignant #BBCCountryfile Mag. My column unillustrated. Lynn Hatzius, a talented, insightful, deeply moving artist has died too young, after a short illness. I only knew her through her art & online interactions, but felt her warmth & kindness. Love to her loved ones. www.lynnhatzius.com

They have Egrets on Countryfile. Reminds me of the pun I managed at a, nature reserve in Lincolnshire. I said "Ah yes, the Egret; the 5th member of the "Gret" family after the Agret, the Bgret and the Cgret." The groans were clearly audible. #Puns #Countryfile #BBCCountryfile
