Our first day back was a busy one! We enjoyed completing our reading and spelling outside ☀️ We also received our ‘Young STEM Leader’ awards and got our Leavers Hoodies today too 🥳🏆 @youngstemleader.bsky.social #BPSSTEM

Science Week 🧪🥼 We completed a potions experiment and we had so much fun that Miss Meikle forgot to take any pictures 😅 We also completed a Herbology experiment where we looked at how different fertilisers would affect the growth of plants 🪴 #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
Science Week 🧪🥼 We went to our Science Careers Fayre where we learnt about lots of different jobs in this STEM sector 🧑🔬 We also learnt how to do CPR and enjoyed bandaging up our friends ☺️ #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
Thank you to our Science STEM reps who shared their science learning at our parent showcase this afternoon. Thank you to our parents who came along to see what we have been learning. 🧪🧑🏼🔬👩🏻🔬🧫🧲🔍 #BPSScience #BPSSTEM

P4SR were impressed with the results of their travelling rainbow water experiment when they came in this morning 🌈 #BPSSTEM
For practical science week, P4SR conducted the experiment travelling rainbow water. They created a hypothesis and started a science report about this experiment. They're looking forward to observing the results tomorrow and finishing their reports 😀 #BPSSTEM
As part of this week’s STEM focus on practical science, everyone was thrilled to explore chemical reactions by creating Elephant Toothpaste. Before we began, we learned the importance of staying safe during science experiment. 🧬🧑🔬 #BPSSTEM #BPSScience @beancross.bsky.social
This week’s STEM focus was practical science. We had a great time making slime while learning about hypotheses in scientific reports and making predictions for our experiment.🧪🥼 #BPSSTEM #BPSScience @beancross.bsky.social
P3L did a really cool experiment this afternoon. We watched a chemical reaction blow a balloon up. #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
As part of STEM Week, P3I carried out an experiment to investigate how chocolate melts. We predicted which type—white, milk, or dark chocolate buttons—would melt the fastest. Our results showed that white chocolate melted the quickest. #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
We carried out a line chromatography experiment this afternoon. Ask your child how to carry this out! #BPSSTEM
For Science Week, we made our own slime🧑🔬 Before we started, we talked about how to stay safe, like washing our hands and being careful with the ingredients🧪We used glue and contact lens solution to make the slime. The contact lens solution helped turn the glue into stretchy, squishy slime🧫🧬 #BPSSTEM
Today P3L explored melting chocolate. We predicted whether white, milk or dark chocolate buttons would melt quicker. The results was white was the quickest. #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
P5-P7 Careers Fayre
We learned how to separate materials to make plastic, how to do CPR, how to make flour and how to measure radiation! ☢️ 🌾🚑🧪🧲 #BPSSTEM #BPSScience
Thank you to the brilliant employers who took time out of their day to come along to our Science Careers Fayre.
Thank you to INEOS, Royal Highland Education Trust, Daisy First Aid & Craig from Trillium. ☺️ #BPSScience #BPSSTEM
