Day 1 of #BPSWritingWeek was all about character exploration! P1 chose a character to describe after having some time to explore the books and activities on offer around the classroom. I was so impressed with the range of adjectives generated during our planning session!

We spent day 2 of #BPSWritingWeek working on our quick writes. We spent time jotting down all of our ideas and circled out any words we were unsure of and wanted to come back to. We loved spending time at the end of the lesson sharing snippets of our work with our peers! ✏️📝👩🏻💻

#BPSWritingWeek Day 1 - Planning 🧠 We had exciting conversations about a variety of writing themes and which genre would fit these best. We then researched our chosen topic and used our planning formats to structure our ideas. What a creative bunch! 🤩 ❤️

What a successful first day of this years #BPSWritingWeek ! As a class, we mind mapped all of our writing suggestions to help generate ideas and inspiration! We then spent time deciding on our genre, topic and even worked on planning our pieces! We are excited to work on them throughout the week😄
