I took these photos in Dickenson, North Dakota. Originally I had this idea of playing my Native American flute in the Badlands, but it was stormy & the housecleaner at the hotel said we might get attacked by buffalo, so I changed my mind.

The park is known for its dramatic eroded buttes, pinnacles, and spires. Activities: Popular activities include scenic drives, wildlife viewing (such as bison and bighorn sheep), and hiking trails ranging from easy boardwalks to strenuous treks.
