Results from tonight's baking: red bean rice cake and strawberry matcha rice cake! Both done like western cakes, but using sweet rice flour. Outstanding! And chewy like mochi! It's like a hybrid between cake and mochi! 🧡

View of the overall cheesecake. From the side it looks like there's 3 layers, brown white darker brown, but they're all hidden through the translucency of the rich red raspberry glaze that enrobes the entire cheesecake.
A slice view reveals the stacked layer appearance from the outside is misleading, it's several curled layers in a marbled appearance in the side view on top of a brownie crust with the raspberry glaze starting to gently drip onto the sides of the slice.
Raspberry mocha brownie cheesecake! A raspberry mirror glaze enrobes an espresso/vanilla zebra cheesecake atop a brownie base crust with a thin layer of white chocolate ganache under the raspberry. ^^
This was utterly fantastic and I will definitely make again!

A slice has been taken from the cake allowing insight to the crumb and blueberries around the bottom. Moist but not tender.
Eepy yotie need coffee or tea or bothhh.
And maybe more cake! Made a simple gateaux au yaourt last night with fresh blueberries. A firmer cake than it looks! Was surprised by the texture. But dirt simple to make!

A sheet tray of pale, crackly sandwich cookies, flecker with orange zest, filled with a dark dulce de leche caramel as the filling.
Tonight I baked alfajores, a South American variant (I believe Argentinian!) of a sandwich cookies, these with dulce de leche as the filling! Also #GlutenFree as primarily corn starch dough! Very tasty!

The other treat I forgot to share as far as #baking is concerned was this chocolate sheet pan "croissant" from King Arthur. The crust recipe needs some work, namely it's almost too thin, but definitely could work! Fun chocolatey treat!

A cheesecake on a white cake round. The cheesecake itself is barely visible pink on top of the brownie crust. Most of the cheesecake is obscured by the draping of chocolate ganache along the sides, the spots of the whipped cream on top around the rim and the center, and the ring of saucy sweetened red strawberries. The round and top of the cheesecake is covered in a lacy drizzle of ganache as a finishing touch.
Baked a strawberry cheesecake on a brownie crust with vanilla bean whipped cream and sweetened strawberries! For the family dinner with my walf's family. ^^

It has a faint green tint from the pistachios in it, with the frosting on top and between the two layers being white but seeming almost pink in contrast. It looks very moist, with some bits clinging still to the cake circle.
Pistachio rose cake I made for a friend's birthday, back in October! Pistachios are ground with sugar and citrus zest then blended with eggs and rose water. Brushed them with rose syrup I made, with a simple frosting. Lovely <3

After teasing other fatfurs with baked goods, re-sharing a cheesecake I baked for a February 2023 local fur meet: marbled strawberry and vanilla bean cheesecake on a gluten-free brownie crust, ganache, and chocolate whipped cream!
