It is the name my mother gave me.” Not a name Askaly would associate with Outworld, at least not with Shao Kahn’s empire. Indeed, after spending some time among the monks and hearing them talking among themselves in their language, it sounded more like Chinese. “I thought your parents were from Outworld.” Xiuying frowned and, without answering, sat down on the bed, her long legs spread across the floor. Then she pulled her left arm out through the short sleeve of her robe, and Askaly had to blink to stop staring. “Uh, I’m assuming you want the tattoo on your shoulder?” “Yes.”
