What Does It Feel Like? by Sophie Kinsella @sophiekinsellawriter @sallysmack @prhaudio @prhaudio.bsky.social #WhatDoesItFeelLike When this was first released, I got the audiobook right away. But when I learned it was based on her own current experience, something made me pause. It was if I somehow delayed listening to her most autobiographical work of fiction, I could deny reality. Madeleine Sophie Wickham, aka Sophie Kinsella, lost her battle with glioblastoma on December 10, an aggressive form of brain cancer, first diagnosed in 2022. I finally had the courage to pick up this story, somewhat her story, and listen to it in tribute to the woman, the writer whose stories made me laugh out loud.

Saturday Morning for Kids: The Wild World Handbook: Habitats #NonFiction #Middlegrades #BeatTheBacklist2025 This meme was started by Rae Longest at Powerful Women Readers, but as she is busy with her bookstore, she is not posting as much and asked me to take over. I hope some of you will join in and post those reviews of children's or middle grade books on Saturdays. As I am a grandmother, who loves to read to her grandchildren, a mother who loved to read to and with her children, and a retired teacher librarian, this meme is right up my alley.

It is made up of 12 Novellas, written by 6 different authors. They are set in Marietta, Montana with characters that appear in each of the books. I have enjoyed this series and am glad I got back to it. I still have 4 more to read, so perhaps Novellas in November might see me binging the rest of this series
