If the folks who still want to know, the Canal ice is fair to poor around Dow's Lake. Lots of bumps of various sizes, lots of cracks, and getting soft.

I had a great skate today! The ice was spectacular west of Bronson, and quite passable further east where there are more skaters.

Would love it even more if @rideaucanalskate.bsky.social would get some bike racks installed at the entrance points. I don't think I've even seen that many bikes at Dow's Pavillion, but I've definitely had to go to a 2nd choice post for lock up before.
