Small questions for my #bioinformaticians friends, do you know if there is a simple way to check which interpro domain (or protein domains like PFAM, and so on) are present in a subset of selected proteomes in UniprotKB?
Like a subset of archaea to check if they have or not the IPR00001 domain?
A minor concern is that the base incorporation error rate is 0.7%, and no indication if that's a random process or there's bias (so read or molecule (aka duplex) coverage can overcome). Don't blame the #bioinformaticians when folks start looking for the needle in the haystack (oncology).
When completed, the #Bermuda Cedar will be one of the largest #genomes assembled & annotated using only @nanoporetech.com. Scientists, #bioinformaticians, #laboratories, & #biobankers are encouraged to apply to participate for paid opportunities.
