As its name suggests, the Black-faced Spoonbill has a black, spoon-shaped bill. Its legs are also black in color. The majority of the Spoonbill's feathers are white, with light brown feathers around the base of its neck, and a light brown crest. Its eyes are red. This bird is listed as endangered by wildlife conservation groups. The Black-faced Spoonbill is native to east Asia, including the Korean peninsula, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Japan.
