This black and white 35mm photo shows a storefront, displaying a notice for the "Church of the Living God and Ground of the Truth," partially obscured by a security grate. I believe the church is no longer at this address on Braddock Avenue. It’s still an active church in Braddock. I'm uncertain whether this building is still standing.

The shot was taken with a 1962 Brownie Starmite II camera set to a fixed focus of f/11. The film used was hand-cut Arista 120, respooled to 127.

Isley's was a chain of family-owned dairies that operated in the 20th century until the 1970s. My mom used to buy Chipped Chopped Ham there every week. The only part of the store that remains is the facade, which is now in full decay. I photographed the entire town of Braddock in 2012, and this black-and-white photo is part of that project.
