Who says the #LNP hasn't hurt women?
Looks like the #Budget2020 has been demolished by the Chinese government in stopping Australian coal. Where to now @JoshFrydenberg ? It was clear #ScottyFromMarketing won’t let go of Trump as his talisman & that will be our ruin. Do you have the balls for #Libspill ?

@ABCFactCheck - Can you please fact check whether women are adversely affected in the #Budget2020?

How #ScottyFromHillsong sees Australians, except the women are looking too happy.

Ah, the light of compassion in those eyes.

"The problem is not that the poor can’t pay taxes. The problem is that the rich won’t pay taxes."
Someone posted then deleted this, but its too true.
I'd add "then the govt gives tax cuts to the wealthy".

Question, #auspol
Is it so, that the #Budget2020 is just announced, not passed yet?
If so, we need to lobby #Labor and Independents to vote against it to make the #LNP address the issue of ignoring the 51%.
Is that possible?
The $64 million in #Budget2020 has a ready market in Pentecostal colleges such as Alphacrucis. Do we really want these weirdos lurking around schools? Do we really want taxpayer $$$ paying for our kids to be proselytised by these weirdos?
#ScottyFromMarketing sure does.
More fricking fracking

The #Budget2020 was not a transformative response to the #climate emergency.
The big question is whether the $15bn #COVID19 response funding for "shovel ready" projects will go to low carbon, future-proofed infrastructure....
The words "#climate change" only appeared three times in @grantrobertson1's speech, and only appear once in the #Budget2020 itself (when not referring to legislation - total of 4x).
We face intersecting transformational crises. This is not a transformational budget. But... (1/3)
#Climate action (and #climatejustice!) will be critical tests of today's #Budget2020. Will Aotearoa's government choose a #JustRecovery that builds resilience for future crises, or double down on business as usual?...
#budget2020 enough cash for trees and soil? Some thoughts on the @DerbyUni blog blog.derby.ac.uk/2020/03/budget-2020-enou... @derbyuniesrc @DerbyUniPress ... Hoping for a future where soil is valued more highly than concrete
Business rates abolished for nearly 50% of all business properties. @Office_ECA #Budget2020
#Budget2020 is a small step in the right direction to reduce emissions and improve the UK’s resilience to #ClimateChange. But new investment must now be supported by longer-term policies to get UK climate action back on track. Our full response: https://bit.ly/2IDKpmz

On #Budget2020 - a few tasty morsels to start but we will have to wait for the main course.
Good stuff on flooding. A package of worthwhile steps to reduce emissions - and tax levers being used.
But this *really* ramps up expectations for the infra strategy and spending review.
Good news from #budget2020 with a Chancellor who has bothered to carry out an analysis of the industry & the cause of pub closures.... Paid the rates bill a bit too early it seems. Looking forward to getting that back :)

Quick thoughts on (non-coronavirus) tax & welfare in #Budget2020:
• Some sensible tax rises: corporation tax; red diesel; climate change levy; entr. relief
• NICs, fuel, alcohol & VAT cuts are really quite minor
• Longer-term tax choices TBD
• & no answer to poverty concerns
@RobertaCFusco luckily gives me more time to engage with #Budget2020
I just listened to #Budget2020 It would appear that the Conservative Party have discovered a new continent covered in "magic money trees" ... they're doing exactly what they spent the last 4 years saying Labour would make the country bankrupt doing!
Chancellor announces massive new tree planting scheme. Those magic money trees won’t let plant themselves .... #Budget2020
"...protecting our environment, building roads..." 🙄#Budget2020
£27Bn "of tarmac" expanding the road network. A great step on the road to a low carbon future. #Budget2020
#RedDiesel tax break retained for agriculture. How will this encourage innovation and a just transition to our low carbon future? #Budget2020
