A lovely ride down to Budleigh Salterton to enjoy some sun and fresh air, and a Cornish pasty from the Spar (best and cheapest pasties in Budleigh). I'm so lucky to have this on my doorstep, close enough to be able to manage despite my leaky mitral valve!

OK, so it was a mite chilly on the knees, but it was just tooooo nice not to take the legs out for a spin to lovely Budleigh, for a Shaldon Bakery Chelsea bun... and I got the last one in the shop. It was as delicious as normal!

Shaldon Bakery Chelsea bun - one of the best you'll find!
The cycle track between Budleigh and Exmouth, along the route of the old railway line - a great way to get from Exeter & Topsham to Exmouth & Budleigh.
A dilemma: whether to go to Budleigh in time to get a Shaldon Bakery Chelsea bun before the bakery closed, or to wait for the sun to arrive.
Pah, not really a dilemma - the bun won.
