The proposed #CoxheathCopperMine was an issue in our electoral district for the recent municipal #CBRM elections. In a #CBC radio interview, #BlueMarshall revealed he hadn’t even heard about the issue - but still became counsellor of our riding. He has a long history of being politically useless. Ⓐ

NS ACORN Statement on Early Election As many of you have heard, Tim Houston and his PC government have announced an early election for Tuesday November 26th, breaking his own legislation that set a fixed election Daye of July 15 2025. Houston is rushing Nova Scotians to the polls, hoping to secure a majority by dangling a 1% HST cut in front of voters. Rest assured, ACORN will not be swayed by a cut that primarily benefits the wealthiest while draining much needed funding from already underfunded social services and affordable housing. ACORN knows that this PC government has allowed the fixed term lease loophole to undermine rent control laws, forcing countless tenants to move each year as landlords hike rents. We see this election call as an opportunity to push even harder for the changes we need in Nova Scotia. ACORN is calling on all parties to prioritize the housing crisis and protest low- to moderate income residents.
