Large quantities of roofing tile and brick were produced by the #legion for use at the fortress.
From about AD 100, many were stamped with the legions title, official use only. The kilns were probably located near the River Usk. 📸 My own.

Isca: Near the barack buildings were communal toilets, and at one end of the complex you can see the remains of a bread oven.
You can also see remains of the fortress walls, a gate and corner turret, cookhouses, and latrine drains.

Origin: He was from Ulpia Traiana, a city in the Roman province of Germania Inferior, which is now known as Xanten in Germany. Service: He served for seven years and was stationed in Britain.
